Whole Foods

- jokingly called Whole Paycheck, lives up to the nickname.

We're trying to eat better, and by better, I mean less takeout. Living in Hawaii means groceries are imported by barge being harvested before their prime and nutrient rich states. Local produce, not impossible to find, is costly to obtain.

Food intended for ~4 dinners, for a family of 2.5 cost $100! I'm sure on the mainland that could be the monthly bill to feed a family of 5, and maybe even stretched more with extreme couponing (no such luck here, stores put limits on savings and discounts).

Ohh the costs of living in paradise.
