Yay! Yesterday was a success! We rotated the couch 180 degrees and put the entertainment center on the opposite side of the room. By doing this we actually gained about 4 feet!
The toys do make the room more cluttered, so we have to do something about that, but it's nice having such a large open space from the living room to the dining room and unobstructed access to the door.
Makes us wonder why we've never done it before...
